Optical Jumpers
Opterna offers high performance patchcords and pigtails that are used in fiber optic systems requiring ultra low loss. Opterna patchcords & pigtails are manufactured in state-of-the-art controlled manufacturing processes to operate over a wide range of wavelengths ranging in 1310 and 1550nm windows. Opterna patchcords and pigtails are offered in almost all the connector and cable options on Multimode and Singlemode.
Armored Patchcords
Opterna armored patchcords are specifically designed for last mile fiber routing applications. The special cable used for this patchcord protects the fiber against high crushing forces and also facilitates bending it around sharp corners without having significant loss. Thus, the installer is still within the limits of the link loss budget enabling him to route his cable the way he wants it. Opterna armored patchcords are offered in almost all connector types and in Multimode and Singlemode versions. It exhibits its low bending characteristics when used in conjunction with G657 fiber.
Preterminated Assemblies
Opterna offers a complete range of pre-terminated multifiber assemblies in a variety of cable and connector configurations. These high-quality factory terminated and tested assemblies may be used for simple point to point links or to install a complete fiber optic network. The cabling is fully compatible with all standard cable management accessories and requires no special tools or expertise to install.
