Optical Spectrum Analyzers
High Resolution Optical Spectral Analyzers (HROSA) with spectrum resolution nearly three orders of magnitude higher than conventional techniques, provide an opportunity to observe details in the spectrum of optical signals never seen before with conventional methods. High-Resolution Optical Spectrum Analyzers are powerful tools for building a better understanding of optical sources and modulators to meet current and future optical network requirements. Pulsed lasers, ultra DWDM systems and
measurement of the RF spectra of optical signals, among other applications, can also benefit from the high resolution optical spectrum measurement techniques.
The all-optical technology used by Aragón Photonics in its HROSA enables it to offer unique capabilities with superior performance. High resolution & high dynamic range, simultaneously, is provided with fast measurement speed for any spectral span.
Aragón Photonics extends measurement capability to the time domain, as well, for characterization of transmitters and modulators.
Two models are available: BOSA, providing the amplitude spectrum with high resolution, and BOSA Phase, which additionally performs phase measurements of discrete spectral components of optical signals with a repetitive pattern.
