FiberLabs

FiberLabs Inc. develops a wide range of optical equipment for optical fiber communication, optical sensing, and bio-medical optics. Their unique optical fiber technology can produce lights of various wavelengths and properties, and this technology is utilized across the product range. ASE light sources are white light sources with high-brightness over a broad spectral range.

FiberLabs is a pioneer in developing and delivering ASE light sources in new spectral ranges. Products include the C & L-Band broadband light source, the FL7002-FL7004, and the ultra-broadband light source covering S, C & L-Band, the FL7701. These light sources are widely used in applications such as characterization of WDM components, optical sensing and other optical measurements.

Optical amplifiers are key devices in WDM transmission systems. FiberLabs offers optical amplifiers in O, S, C and L bands by taking advantage of unique optical fiber technology.

Fiber Lasers are compact and highly efficient laser light sources. FiberLabs develops fiber lasers in unique spectral ranges using fluoride optical fibers. FiberLabs continues systematic research and development from basic technology to product development, challenging to produce light of new spectral range with various properties.

SYCATUS / Keysight Optical Noise Analyzer

The SYCATUS Optical Noise Analyzer with Keysight signal analyzers is used for evaluation of optical frequency noise of lasers as a power spectrum density. This instrumentation system provides analysis of 1/f noise, spurious noise (from electrical control circuitry or EMI), white noise, the Lorentzian, as well as the conventional self heterodyne linewidth of lasers used in digital coherent transmission systems. ITLA, plus other performance-critical laser development is streamlined by the advanced detection of spurious noise caused by dither or EMI and no other solution can isolate the white noise and Lorentzian line width as required by OIF for the ITLA MSA. No reference laser source or frequency tuning is required for easy, stable and high-speed measurement.
