The FPO WS500 is for the measurement of Spectral Attenuation and Cutoff Wavelength of single mode fibers.

The FPO WS500MFD also measures Mode Field Diameter (MFD) and Effective Area (Aeff) using the far-field scanning method.

The functionality of the included 'PEcon' software allows for automatic and sequential testing of all parameters with a single connection of the sample and a single button press.
